FC Accounting Co. (“FCA”, “we”, “us”) is a hospitality-specialist accounting practice operating from L2, 1 Breakfast Creek Road, Newstead QLD 4006, Australia. We provide bookkeeping, tax, and combined accounting services for café, restaurant, bar and takeaway operators.
FCA sends SMS messages to clients and prospective clients who have opted in. The kinds of messages you can expect to receive when you opt in include: appointment confirmations and reminders for strategy calls, replies to messages you have sent us, onboarding and document-collection follow-ups, lodgement deadline reminders specific to your engagement (BAS, IAS, tax), and account and service updates relevant to the work we are doing for you.
2. Cancelling the SMS service
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to +61 7 2142 8829. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

4. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message and data rates
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages at a frequency that varies based on your enquiry status and engagement — typically fewer than 8 messages per month per recipient, with transactional messages (appointment confirmations, lodgement reminders) sent as events occur. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

7. Use of this website
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) also govern your use of www.fcaccountingco.com (the “Site”) and any enquiry, contact form, or marketing communication you exchange with FCA.
Information on this Site is general in nature and does not constitute personal accounting, tax, financial product or legal advice. Any accounting or tax services we provide to you require a separate signed Engagement Letter that sets out scope, fees, and responsibilities.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to send unsolicited messages, spam, or any content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or infringing
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract source code or bulk-collect content
- Use the Site to misrepresent yourself or another person, or to test or probe the security of the Site
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or any other user’s access
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the FC Accounting Co. brand, and the underlying code — is owned by FCA or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright and trade-mark laws. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
9. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Nothing in these Terms excludes any non-excludable consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FCA’s total liability for any loss arising from your use of the Site is limited to the re-supplying of the relevant content. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
